The publication Diversity Revolution: The knowledge collection summarizes the current knowledge relevant for fostering diversity, filled with information that will help professionals that work with youth in various fields raise their knowledge and understanding of diversity topic. The collection was created through analysis of findings based on scientific papers regarding diversity fostering on the organisational level, analysis of EU and national level non-formal resources regarding diversity, tailoring of “minimal standards” for diversity sensitive organisations and analysis of relevant current EU and national strategies, laws and procedures regarding diversity fostering and relevant for the 3 systems that are in contact with youth the most (youth work, education and social work).
PART 2 - DIVERSITY IN CONTEMPORARY LEGAL FRAMEWORKS: EU LEVEL
In Part 2 you will learn about the legal framework that guides EU efforts on diversity fostering. Knowledge on the EU legislation is relevant to understand the EU dimension of diversity fostering, to understand in which frameworks do our countries act when it comes to creating national legislations that are in line with the EU ones, as well as to understand how your efforts in the field contribute to EU efforts in this field.
